Ink Against Cancer Financial Assistance Application

We are an all – volunteer grass-root organization financed through fundraising events, private donations, and community/corporate sponsors to support our mission. We DO NOT provide grants.

Ink Against Cancer-Cancer Warriors Foundation is grassroots 501(c)(3) foundation dedicated to raising cancer awareness and funding by uniting local, statewide, and national artists of all media, with a strong focus on the interconnected worlds of tattooing, music, and entertainment, providing financial assistance to help cover daily living expenses to warriors going through their journey.

In addition to providing a supplemental safety net for various living and medical expenses, IAC has also helped to organize and financially support individuals; last wishes, funeral expenses and more. Through a volunteer staff who work tirelessly, putting together events to raise funds which have helped to support hundreds of Cancer Warriors across the country through their cancer journey.
IAC receives no government funding and relies solely on the generous support of the art community, public and private donations, and sponsorship partners.

Our foundation has non-paid staff and is all volunteer driven. We work tirelessly in putting together events to raise funds for Cancer Warriors no matter the type of cancer and age.

All financial assistance applications go through a review by our board, but all information is kept confidential.

 

Important Information:

Financial Assistance is based on funding availability . Please allow up to 90 days after you apply to receive a response.

Note: the 90-day timeframe begins after a completed financial assistance application has been received, not after an email requesting to be placed on the waitlist.

Applications can change slightly each year. All applicants must apply annually.

In order to be eligible for Ink Against Cancer financial assistance you must:

  • Beneficiary must be diagnosed with cancer confirmed by an oncology health care provider.

  • Beneficiaries must have less than $50,000 in accessible funds (bank accounts and/or fundraising accounts).

  • Live and receive treatment in the U.S. 

  • Application MUST be completely filled out by the individual, caregiver, or parent/guardian (if individual is underage) to be reviewed.

  • Applications are reviewed quarterly.

  • Must have a valid Taxpayer Identification Numbers

    • Social Security number "SSN"

    • Individual Taxpayer Identification Number "ITIN     

You must submit a completed application. APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR REVIEW UNLESS ALL PARTS ARE COMPLETED

Due to extraordinary number of individuals currently on our waiting list, we are temporarily unable to add any additional names to the waitlist at this time.

As a small, 100% volunteer-driven nonprofit,we want to ensure that we can responsibly support Cancer Warrios who are already waiting for assistance. Closing the waitlist temporarily allows us to focus our available resources those currently in our program.

We understand how difficult it can be to reach out for help, and we sincerely apologize that we are unable to accept additional names at this time.
